The Ice Cream Barr is throwing a four-day grand opening celebration at its newest location inside Artisan Haven, a downtown Brooksville boutique at 134 E Fort Dade Ave.
The festivities run September 4 through 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. each evening, featuring live music, games, prizes, and special ice cream and coffee deals.
This marks the fourth location for the Barr family creamery, which also operates at Good Time in Brooksville, Crumps Landing in Homosassa, and The Production House in Masaryktown.
Founders Rebekah and James Barr left careers in the Los Angeles film industry to return to Brooksville, where their roots run deep. They launched the creamery in 2020, crafting sauces, purees, and mix-ins largely from scratch using locally sourced ingredients.
The couple calls community giving both a calling and a commitment — and this weekend's celebration is a sweet reflection of exactly that. Read More... |
